Operators advised to prepare for record demand ahead of July 4 – With record-breaking movements predicted for this U.S. Independence Day holiday, operators are being advised to be prepared to ensure smooth services for clients.

All government offices, including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and some U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Ports, will be closed on Thursday.

Processing delays are also to be expected on Friday, July 5.

Operators are being advised to complete all customs arrangements for flights through Monday, July 8th, no later than 1600 local time on Wednesday, July 3.

Missing this deadline may necessitate private flyers to clear customs at alternative airports that remain operational during the holiday.

As TSA can take up to five days to process requests, operators should also ensure early application to avoid any potential delays.
