Cold Weather Conditions Impact UK Operations

Operators are being advised to keep in close contact with their trip support providers after cold weather conditions impacted UK operations at three London airports earlier this week.

The major upset occurred on Sunday when Stansted and Gatwick closed their runways due to the weather.

Further cancellations followed on Monday as attempts were made to return scheduled operations back to normal as quickly as possible.

Heathrow experienced approximately 50 flight cancellations as freezing fog conditions caused a series of ATC delays.
