The 2016 German Grand Prix takes place in Hockenheim from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31. The Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg motor racing circuit is located in the picturesque Rhine valley near the town of Hockenheim in Baden-Württemberg. It is situated on the Bertha Benz Memorial Route – a 194km touristic themed road trip. There are a few airport options, some ideal for larger jets, others for smaller ones. Non-EU passengers
Some non-EU passport holders are allowed to enter and remain in the European Union for up to three months without a visa. It’s important to check whether your nationality is included in this category prior to your trip. If not, you will need to organize a visa prior to arrival in the EU.
A Passport or EU country ID allows for a stay of up to 90 days without a visa
An extension of stay is possible for visa exempt visitors
Note: Passports or any passport replacing documents issued more than ten years prior to the date of travel will not be accepted.
Tourists must hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay in the EU and those without a return or onward ticket could be refused entry.

Customs
When traveling between two countries of the European Union:
You must declare cash or cash equivalents up to €10,000 to the customs officers

Gems and precious metals
When traveling to or from non-EU countries:
If you are traveling from an EU country to a country outside the EU or vice versa, you must declare cash and cash equivalents of 10,000 Euros or more to the customs service in writing.
When arriving from a non-EU country, you must submit a written declaration at the first customs inspection point (the designated red exit for declarable goods).
When departing for a non-EU country, go to the responsible customs office or ask which customs counters you can submit your written declaration to. This must be done before you pass through the security checkpoint.

Up to a total value of 430 Euro is allowed
Travelers under the age of 15 may only import goods worth a total of 175 euros
