Salone del Mobile Milano 2019: The annual Milan Furniture Fair is the largest trade fair of its kind in the world. The exhibition showcases the latest in furniture and design from all over the globe and takes place from April 9-14 at Milan Fairgrounds. Here’s what attendees need to know about Milan Linate, transport, and accommodation.

Operational Information

• Customs is available: Valid passport and Schengen visa is required
• Private flights do not require overflight or landing permits
• Carrier operating with an AOC needs overflight/landing permits
• Airport opening hours are 24/7 – but restrictions apply
• Immigration will be cleared at the GAT, with dedicated immigration offices
• Please note that Wide Body aircraft such as A330 B77 and similar sizes, are not allowed to operate to LIML and should use LIMC instead

Transport to Milan Fairgrounds (Fiera Milano)

From Milan Linate:

• Take the bus line 73 to Piazza San Babila, then take the underground line 1 (red line) to Rho-Fiera Milano
• Throughout the fair, there is also a direct transfer to the fairgrounds

By underground:

• Take the Red line and get out at Rho-Fiera Milano – you need an extra-urban ticket for one-way, round trip, or a daily ticket

By car:

• From A4 Turin-Milan-Venice, take the Pero-fieramilano exit
• A8/A9 Milan-Malpensa Airport Varese / Como and West Ring, take the Fiera Milano exit
• Multi-storey carparks are located beside the West Gate entrance (Porta Ovest)

By rail:

• From Milan Stazione Centrale, Lambrate, and Garibaldi Stations take the subway line 2 (green line) to Abbiategrasso – at Cadorna-Triennale station change to subway line 1 (red line) to Rho-Fiera Milano
• From the Cadorna Station take line 1 (red line) to Rho-Fiera Milano
