China Offers Visa-Free Entry to Select Countries – China is set to temporarily exempt citizens of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia from needing visas to enter.

From December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023, passengers from these six countries entering China for business, tourism, or transiting for less than 15 days, will not need a visa.

China has been taking steps to revive its tourism sector following three years of strict COVID-19 measures, for example, restoring international flight routes.

In October, China’s aviation authority said that 16,680 weekly flights were expected from November through March, with passenger flights expected to reach 71% of that of four years ago.
