Shanghai Hongqiao closed to international BizAv operations: There are no international private jet operations allowed at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (ZSSS) since August 1 due to renovations of the airport’s FBO custom facilities.  According to the UAS China team, construction may continue for several months and there is yet no confirmed date when ZSSS can once again welcome international BizAv flights.

The leaders of Niger’s military coup have closed the country’s airspace to avoid any military intervention from neighboring states. The coup began on July 26 with the attempted overthrow of Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum. Flights already in the air when the airspace closure was declared were either rerouted or diverted.
