MRO Latin America

MRO Latin America takes place from Thursday, January 21 to Friday, January 22 at the Sheraton Lima Hotel and Conference Center, Lima, Peru. U.S. Immigration

Non-EU Passengers and Crew
A valid passport and a visa are required for all non-EU passengers with the exception of U.S. citizens.
U.S. citizens with a valid passport may travel to Peru as tourists for a maximum duration of 183 days.
All passports and any other documents accepted for entry must be valid on arrival.

EU Passengers and Crew
EU nationals entering Peru on business for a maximum duration of 90 days do not require a visa.
EU nationals with a normal passport entering Peru as tourists for a maximum duration of 90 days do not require a visa.
All passports and any other documents accepted for entry must be valid on arrival.

Passengers with an APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) are valid for travel for a maximum of three months. This stay may be extended for a maximum of 30 days.

U.S. Customs

Import

Passengers over 18 years of age are allocated free import of the following:
-Medicines for personal use only
-400 cigarettes or 50 cigars
-3 liters of alcohol
-Goods for personal use or gifts with a total value not exceeding USD 300
-A maximum of 2 kg. of food

Export
All export of cultural or artistic articles is forbidden.

Baggage Clearance

All baggage is cleared at the first point of entry in Peru.
Crew luggage has its own queue.

Airport Embarkation Tax

No airport tax is levied on passengers at the airport.

The local current is Peruvian Nuevo Sol-PEN

Import
Local currency (Peruvian Nuevo Sol-PEN) and all forms of foreign currency exceeding the value of USD 10,000 must be declared.
Note: It is prohibited to carry local currency and any form of foreign currency equivalent to USD 30,000 or higher. Any import of such amounts must be arranged through authorized organizations.
